You’re invited to grab your gardening gloves and get your hands dirty in a community-led park and garden clear-up.
Hosted by Transition Town Hastings and supported by Tidy Up St Leonards, members of the Burtons’ St Leonards Society and Hastings Borough Council, this small act of horticultural transformation is just one contributor to a growing movement (no pun intended!) of people and organisations committed to working better together to improve, expand and protect our town’s parks, gardens and green spaces.
Do bring…Garden gloves, secateurs, loppers, rakes and hand tools, if you have them. Water (it’s warm work!).
Please don’t worry if you don’t think you’re a ‘real gardener’; most of us are amateurs – people like you, who are passionate about keeping our town green and growing.
Plus, this town is packed with horticultural experts who’ll be along to advise and guide us!
